HOME CARE
‘Home Care' also known as Domiciliary Care refers to assistance in your home with routine personal and domestic tasks that a person may find difficult due to age, illness, disability or recovery from surgery.
PERSONAL CARE
Personal Care’ means assisting people with routine personal care tasks like bathing, dressing, toileting, medication management, mobility that they previously would have been able to do easily but now find challenging.
SHORT BREAK SERVICE
Our service provides a trained carer to stay with the person you care for while you go out. We can also provide support if you have a planned or unplanned admission to hospital, or if you want a holiday, we can also support you and the person you care for on holiday or just traveling to a destination.
RESPITE CARE
6.5 million people in the UK are carers looking after a loved one. It’s difficult to keep doing this without a break. Taking a break is vital for your own health and well being.
OT ASSESSMENT AND SUPPORT

"I want to share a short testimony of my recent miraculous speedy recovery from serious ill health in which 'Dependability' played a huge part.
In November 2023 I became seriously ill and debilitated, I was unable to walk or look after myself. The team at 'Dependability' were a Godsend, they came to my home twice a day and helped me get back on my feet. They helped me with absolutely everything from showering, eating, cleaning and even learning to walk again. The team went above and beyond simple daily homecare visits.and helped me kick start my life again.
Now, four months later [March 2024], I'm not only walking and moving around again, I'm living in complete gratitude just to be able to perform life's simple, basic tasks again. I could not have done it without the help of the organization named 'Dependability'.
In late February [2024], I cancelled the homecare agreement with 'Dependability' as I could once again start looking after myself and believed that their resources would better benefit others in need.
I really enjoyed meeting all the different characters and cultures of the team at 'Dependability' and usually we had a good laugh and a giggle. They do a very special and difficult job. It's wonderful to see organisations like this in this often uncertain, crazy world.
